As this weekend typically is known to most as the beginning of summer festivities, I wanted to take a moment and pay tribute, honor and thank all the service men and women and their families that have sacrificed their time, their lives and their relationships to serve and protect our great Country in the many branches of the Armed Forces.
You have put your own desires and dreams and lives on hold to dedicate and fulfill a highest calling for an American and for all it’s citizens and even non-citizens (the ones here illegally) that enjoy the freedom, liberty and safety we have on American soil. Maybe for some of you, signing up and enlisting to protect and serve and fight for America’s continued freedom was part of your dream, something you are still passionate about and would do it again and to that; an even bigger thank you!
Fighting for our freedom does not come free, it is not cheap. Freedom comes at a great cost and you are loved, honored, respected, appreciated and prayed for by many, many Americans that do not take our freedom for granted and are fully aware of your sacrifice.
I have a Dad, Uncles, Cousins, a Sister, a Step-dad, a brother-in-law, a father-in-law, friends and children and grandchildren of friends and family that have served or are actively serving now. We must all know someone we can say “THANK-YOU” to this weekend.
I THANK-YOU again from the bottom of my heart and may God please continue to bless America!
